Prophetic Scriptures on the Second Wilderness Experience
The Scriptures have a lot to say about this amazing Latter Day Harvest where God will bring persectued Jews once again to the wilderness for protection, comfort and salvation. As you read the Scriptures below please note that the Editor has added bold face, underlines and italics to add emphasis to particular parts. COMFORT & SALVATION IN THE WILDERNESS
(Hosea 2:14-23 NKJV) {14}"Therefore, behold, I will allure her [Israel], Will bring her into the wilderness, And speak comfort to her. {15} I will give her her vineyards from there, And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope; She shall sing there, As in the days of her youth, As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt. {16}"And it shall be, in that day," Says the LORD, "That you will call Me 'My Husband,' And no longer call Me 'My Master,' {17}For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals, And they shall be remembered by their name no more. {18} In that day I will make a covenant for them With the beasts of the field, With the birds of the air, And with the creeping things of the ground. Bow and sword of battle I will shatter from the earth, To make them lie down safely. {19 }"I will betroth you to me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice, In lovingkindness and mercy; {20}I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, And you shall know the LORD. {21}"It shall come to pass in that day That I will answer, says the LORD; "I will answer the heavens, And they shall answer the earth. {22}The earth shall answer With grain, With new wine, And with oil; They shall answer Jezreel. {23}Then I will sow her for Myself in the earth, And I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; Then I will say to those who were not My people, You are My people! And they shall say, 'You are my God!'"
THE GREAT RETURN WITH REJOICING AND DANCE
(Jer 31 NKJV) {1} “At the same time,” says the LORD, “I will be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.” {2}Thus says the LORD: “The people who survived the sword Found grace in the wilderness-- Israel, when I went to give him rest.” {3}The LORD has Appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you. {4}Again I will build you, and you shall be rebuilt, O virgin of Israel! You shall again be adorned with you tambourines, And shall go forth in the dances of those who rejoice. {5}You shall yet plant vines on the mountains of Samaria: The planters shall plant and eat them as ordinary food. {6}For there shall be a day When the watchmen will cry on Mount Ephraim, ‘Arise, and let us go up to Zion, To the LORD our God.’” {7} For thus says the LORD: “Sing with gladness for Jacob, And shout among the chief of the nations; Proclaim, give praise, and say ‘O LORD, save Your people, The remnant of Israel!’ {8}Behold, I will bring them from the north country, And gather them from the ends of the earth, Among them the blind and the lame, The woman with child And the one who labors with child, together: A great throng shall return there, {9}They shall come with weeping, And with supplications I will lead them. I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters, In a straight way in which they shall not stumble: For I am a Father to Israel, And Ephraim is My firstborn. {10}“Hear the word of the LORD, O nations, And declare it in the isles afar off, and say, ‘He who scattered Israel will gather him, And keep him as a shepherd does his flock.’ {11}For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, And ransomed him from the hand of one stronger than he. {12}Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, Streaming to the goodness of the LORD-- For wheat and new wine and oil, For the young of the flock and the herd; Their souls shall be like a well-watered garden, And they shall sorrow no more at all. {13}“Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, And the young men and old, together: For I will turn their mourning to joy, Will comfort them, And make them rejoice rather than sorrow. {14} I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, And My people shall be satisfied with MY goodness, says the LORD.”
{15}Thus says the LORD: “A voice was heard in Ramah, Lamentation and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children, Refusing to be comforted for her children, Because they are no more.” {16}Thus says the LORD: “Refrain your voice from weeping, And your eyes from tears: For your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD, And they shall come back from the land of the enemy. {17}There is hope in your future, says the LORD, That your children shall come back to their own border. {18}“I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself: ‘You have chastised me, and I was chastised, Like an untrained bull; Restore me, and I will return, For You are the LORD my God. {19}Surely, after my turning, I repented; And after I was instructed, I struck myself on the thigh; I was ashamed, yes, even humiliated, Because I bore the reproach of my youth.’ {20} Is Ephraim My dear son? Is he a pleasant child? For though I spoke against him, I earnestly remember him still; Therefore My heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the LORD. {21}“Set up signposts, Make landmarks; Set your heart toward the highway, The way in which you went. Turn back, O virgin of Israel, Turn back to these your cities. {22}How long will you gad about, O you backsliding daughter? For the LORD has created a new thing in the earth-- A woman shall encompass a man.” {23}Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “They shall again use this speech in the land of Judah and in its cities, when I bring back their captivity: ‘The LORD bless you, O home of justice, and mountain of holiness!’ {24}“And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all its cities together, farmers and those going out with flocks. {25}“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” {26}After this I awoke and looked around, and my sleep was sweet to me. {27}“Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and the seed of beast. 28} “And it shall come to pass, that as I have watched over them to pluck up, to break down, to throw down, to destroy, and to afflict, so I will watch over them to build and to plant, says the LORD. {29}In those days they shall say no more: “The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’ {30}“But every one shall die for his own iniquity; every man who eats the sour grapes, his teeth shall be set on edge. {31}“Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah-- {32}“not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. {33}“But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts: and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. {34}“No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” {35}Thus says the LORD, Who gives the sun for a light by day, The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night, Who disturbs the sea, And its waves roar (The LORD of hosts is His name): {36}“If those ordinances depart From before Me says the LORD Then the seed of Israel shall also cease From being a nation before Me forever.” {37}Thus says the LORD: “If heaven above can be measured, And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel For all that they have done, says the LORD. {38}“Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that the city shall be built for the LORD from the Tower of Hananel to the Corner Gate. {39}“The surveyor’s line shall again extend straight forward over the hill Gareb; then it shall turn toward Goath. {40}“And the whole valley of the dead bodies and of the ashes, and all the fields as far as the Brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be holy to the LORD. It shall not be plucked up or thrown down anymore forever.”
GOD TO PLEAD HIS CASE IN THE WILDERNESS OF THE PEOPLES
EDITORS NOTE:
The New King James Version reads more correctly concerning the way the LORD guides the Jews in the wilderness. Other versions say He "Judges" them, while the NKJV says that He "pleads His case with them". We believe "Pleading His case" gives a better understanding in the context given since they have a chance to hear God's Word and receive Yeshua in Faith. Plus other Scriptures reveal that it is a pleasant time when they sing and dance. Here is what it says:
Ezekiel 20:33-38 NKJV
{33}“As I live,” says the LORD GOD, “surely with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out, I will rule over you. {34}“I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out. {35}“And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead my case with you face to face.
EDITORS NOTE:
(How is it possible for the LORD to plead His case with them face to face prior to His second coming? The answer lies in the Scripture that says: “For where two or three are gathered together in my name [Jesus or Yeshua], there am I in the midst of them.” (Mathew 18:20) So it is absolutely imperative that we come together boldly in Yeshua’s Name at all of our gatherings, then we have the promise that Yeshua will be in the midst of us whether we see him or not.)
{36}“Just as I pleaded My case with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so I will plead My case with you.” Says the LORD GOD. {37}“I will make you pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant; [the New Covenant]{38}“I will purge the rebels from among you, and those who transgress against Me; I will bring them out of the country where they dwell, but they shall not enter the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
EDITORS NOTE:
(So there are some who will come to the wilderness but due to a lack of faith will not go to Israel just as happened in the original exodus out of Egypt. They fought against God and did not believe in His power or promises)
This next section of Scripture describes the spiritual battle that has been going on in heaven and earth. It uses figurative language consisting of “The Woman” who represents Israel & Yeshua's Mother Mary; “The Child” who represents Yeshua; and the rest of the ‘woman’s seed’ that represents the Church. The Dragon represents satan. It covers a large time span but includes our day.
God To Give Persecuted Jews
TWO WINGS OF A GREAT EAGLE
To Fly Them To The Wilderness
(Rev 12 NKJV) {1}Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. {2}Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth. {3}And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. {4}His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to give birth, to devour her Child as soon as it was born. {5}She bore a male Child who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron. And her Child was caught up to God and His throne. {6}Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there one thousand two hundred and sixty days. {7}And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. {9}So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. {10}Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. {11}“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. {12}“Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” {13}Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child. {14}But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times a half a time, from the presence of the serpent. {15}So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. {16}But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. {17}And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
