<body topmargin=0 leftmargin=0 marginheight=0 marginwidth=0> <table cellpadding=0 cellspacing=0 border=0><tr> <td valign="top" colspan=2 height=90 BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#080000" bgproperties="fixed" background="10920861egerdp.jpg"> <div> <FONT SIZE="6" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Edwardian Script ITC" ><B>On Eagle's Wings</B></FONT><B>  </B><B> Inc.</B><B>     </B><FONT SIZE="6" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Webdings" ><B>j</B></FONT><FONT SIZE="1" COLOR="#FFFFFF" FACE="Arial" ><B>  </B></FONT><B> |     </B><A HREF="index.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="On Eagles Wings"><U><B>home</B></U></A></div> <div>                                              back to  <A HREF="id96.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Presidents Notes"><U><B>President's Notes</B></U></A></div> <div> </div> </td> </tr><tr> <td valign="top" width=150 BGCOLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT="#080000" bgproperties="fixed" background="10de4c00egerdp.jpg"> <div> <A HREF="id127.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Presidents Notes"><U>Presidents Notes</U></A></div> <div> <B>The Story of Melissa</B></div> <bR> </td> <td valign="top" height=390 BGCOLOR="#EEEEEE" TEXT="#080000"> <div> <B>The Story of Melissa</B></div> <bR> <div> We do serve an awesome God.  He loves all people, and especially children.  Unfortunately many of his people do not trust him the way they should.  They do not recognize that God is their provider and put their trust in him fully.  Sadly, that was the case for me and perhaps also the case for most people in this world today.  At the time the Lord began to deal with me on this issue I was attending missionary pilot training in Missouri.  The Lord had just given us a calling to serve the Jewish people by flying them back to Israel in the pattern of the original exodus in accordance with his Word in the Bible.  We knew it to be a huge task, much bigger than anything we could do on our own.  We were truly trusting the LORD to see this through.  </div> <bR> <div> However, the Lord began to deal with me on a practice that was wrong.  He began to convict me with the truth that man made birth control was wrong.  At first, I was not sure this was coming from the Lord.  After all, we had this major work to do and a baby would only get in the way.  But, no matter how hard I prayed the Lord would not let up.  I eventually came to realize that unless I were to relent, it would actually get in the way of the ministry the LORD had for us.  We had already sold our home and needed all of it’s proceeds to live off of and to finish pilot training.  We had no paying job and had been directed by the Lord to move to Alaska after pilot training was over.  A birth at this time would put it right at the time of our travel and the critical time of becoming established in Alaska.  But, yet, in my heart I knew that God was bigger than all that.  We knew He could provide for us.  We were already trusting Him to provide us with an entire fleet of aircraft in which to do his work of bringing the dispersed Jews back from all the places they had been scattered.  We were trusting Him to not only provide for our needs but for all those we will be flying back to Alaska to teach them about God’s plans for their lives and about the prophetic nature of their return to Israel.  So, in my heart, I knew it was wrong to think that God could not provide for another baby or many other babies that He may want us to have.  </div> <bR> <div> So... In partial obedience my wife and I agreed to quit using birth control pills.  Instead we began to use what is called the “rhythm method” of birth control.  I reasoned in my mind that this would be ok because it does not work like the pill.  I understood that the pill does not allow a fertilized egg to implant into the uterine wall where it can grow.  So, in effect it is like an abortion.  Conception occurs but there is no birth.  I knew that the rhythm method was not really a good method at all and that eventually we would have a baby.  This bothered me because we would not be able to say that the baby was planned.  But despite this we continued to use this method.  We were still not trusting the Lord the way we should.</div> <bR> <div> Then a day came when one of our friends called us over to see him.  He said that he had some questions regarding the new ministry organization the Lord had led us to form called “On Eagle’s Wings Inc.”.  So my wife and I got ready to go see him.  Before leaving I grabbed a framed copy of some Scripture the LORD had given us in regards to our ministry.  This Scripture is basically a commission the Lord has given On Eagle’s Wings Inc. to do.  It reads:</div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> Comfort, comfort my people,</div> <div> says your God.<I> </I></div> <div> Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and </div> <div> proclaim to her that her hard service </div> <div> has been completed, that her sin has </div> <div> been paid for...  Isaiah 40:1-2</div> <bR> <div> A voice of one calling: </div> <div> "In the desert prepare the way for the LORD; </div> <div> make straight in the wilderness a highway for our God.<I> </I></div> <div> <I> </I>Every valley shall be raised up, </div> <div> every mountain and hill made low; </div> <div> the rough ground shall become level, </div> <div> the rugged places a plain.<I> </I></div> <div> and the glory of the LORD will be revealed, </div> <div> and all mankind together will see it. </div> <div> For the mouth of the LORD has spoken."<I> Isaiah 40:3-5</I></div> <bR> <div> ...You who bring good tidings to </div> <div> Zion, go up on a high mountain. You </div> <div> who bring good tidings to Jerusalem, </div> <div> lift up your voice with a shout, lift it </div> <div> up, do not be afraid; </div> <div> say to the towns of Judah, </div> <div> "Here is your God!" Isaiah 40:9</div> <bR> <div> ...Jesus is His Name!</div> <div> Luke 13:34-35</div> <bR> <div> So with this beautiful Scripture in hand we went to see what our friend wanted.  After giving him a copy of it he said, “Oh good, this answers one of my questions”  Then he said that he had another question but became quite apprehensive about asking it.  He then said: “Lord, are you really sure you want me to ask this?”  He then went on to say that you have been thinking about new life lately and I don't mean spiritual life.  My wife said “You mean the baby God wants us to have.”  He then went on to say that there have been barriers to this new life.  I responded by saying: “Yes, we had gone off of birth control pills but were still using the rhythm method.  Our friend was relieved that the matter was out in the open and that the Lord had already began to deal with us on it.  He then went on to say: “God wants you to know that this baby will be a picture of your ministry.  Just as you had to remove barriers for new life to begin in you, so you will have to remove the barriers that are preventing new life in the Jewish people.”</div> <bR> <div> We left this meeting very excited.  We knew that we had just received a divine appointment from the Lord.  This issue of birth control was highly personal and we had not discussed it with anyone.  So the Lord broke the last thread of our disobedience.  We knew that we had to quite using any type of birth control.  God would be the one in charge of how big or small our family would be.  He would also be the one to provide for our needs.  We also knew that our baby had a very special purpose.  The baby was going to be a picture of the ministry.  It was not long after this that my wife Teri became pregnant.  </div> <bR> <div> Then after a period of time something very unexpected happened.  My wife had a miscarriage and the baby died.  We were devastated and very troubled about the Word our friend had given us.  We understood that the baby was a picture of our ministry and that just as we had to get rid of birth control for new life to form we will have to get rid of obstacles in the Jewish people that are preventing new spiritual life. That we understood, but now that the baby has died<FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Arial" >. </FONT>WHAT KIND OF PICTURE DOES THAT PORTRAY OF the MINISTRY?  It is very disgusting to say the least. The Scripture is very clear as to what the LORD's plans are for the Jews return to Israel. It is filled with good news and is an awesome time in history.  We know that God is using On Eagle's Wings Inc. as part of that<FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Arial" > </FONT>plan.<FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Arial" >  </FONT>So back to the question: how can the baby be a picture of the ministry? </div> <bR> <div> So with these concerns on my mind I brought them before the LORD in prayer.  Then this specific thought came to my head: <B>"She is mine."</B>  I immediately thought that it could be coming from the LORD but did not immediately know what it had to do with what I was talking about. Then I began to realize that yes the baby could be a picture of our ministry in that just as the baby is His, the ministry is His.  Again, I was wanting confirmation that that whole process was from the LORD. Without getting it right away I did know that it was true in that the baby was His, and the ministry was His.  All truth comes from God so that part did come from Him.  The question still standing though was whether or not that is how the baby is a picture of our ministry.  Because I was still wanting confirmation I did not tell any body what the LORD may have revealed to me.  I was hoping that the LORD would share the same thing with Teri or our friend and then they tell me.  So I told Teri that I believed the LORD may have given me the answer on how the baby was a picture of our ministry but that I wanted her to pray to the LORD to have Him reveal it to her.  </div> <bR> <div> Then sometime during this same day Teri was hurting over not knowing whether the baby was a boy or girl and that we would not even be able to name it.  She told the LORD that this hurt but she is comforted in knowing that the baby is with Him.  Then later that day while she was in the middle of a totally different thought, the name <B>Melissa</B> came to her mind.  It came to her in such an abrupt way and out of the blue that she felt it was from the LORD.  She immediately responded, "LORD, was the baby a girl?” </div> <div> After this she shared the experience with me.  Teri was sure it was from the LORD but I responded by saying “Well, if it was from the LORD then the name may have a particular meaning that will be significant to our ministry.”  God does that very often in the Scriptures.  So we looked up the name Melissa and found that it is a Greek word meaning “Honey Bee.”  I thought, "Well... that's sweet and all for a cute little girl, but it's not as profound as I would have desired.”  However, I trusted Teri's judgment that it was from the LORD<FONT SIZE="2" COLOR="#0000CC" FACE="Arial" >.</FONT> </div> <bR> <div> The night passed and in the morning Teri had still not heard anything from the LORD on how the baby was a picture of our ministry.  I told her that I had been very encouraged by what I felt the LORD may have revealed yesterday, and felt that I should go ahead and share it with her.  So I explained how I had been praying to the LORD about being troubled that the baby was supposed to be a picture of our ministry and now she died and how that made a terrible picture.  I shared how the thought came to my mind that the LORD had said "She's mine" and how I didn't know how that related to my question.  But then realized, Yes, that could be a way that the baby presented a picture of our ministry.  Just as the baby is His, so is the ministry. As we were talking about this we began to think about the name Melissa and how it means "Honey Bee.”  We began to think about what Honey Bees do.  They fly all around the country side and pick up the sweetness of the land and bring it all together.  We connected that with what we would be doing with the Jews.  We will be flying all around the country side picking up the Jews and bringing them together.  In the Bible God said that the Promised Land would be a land flowing with milk and honey.  So we could see how that was definitely a picture of our ministry.  It was at this time that the LORD confirmed all that we had been wondering about.  After about two weeks the Lord gave us even more.  I had just got up in the morning and went to my desk.  On it I found a note that said:</div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div>  <B>"</B><B>The Honey Bee communicates </B></div> <div> <B>by doing dances that gives directions."</B></div> <bR> <div> I related this to what the Lord had said about Melissa being a picture of our ministry.  Before this time we had become aware of a ministry where they were using Jewish Dance Festivals to lead Jewish people to their Messiah.  </div> <div> This was an awesome ministry that really caught our eye.  It was perfect for displaying the Joyous time we are living in while God is bringing His people home.</div> <bR> <div> I asked my wife where the note came from.  She said that it was part of our sons school project where he studied Missouri’s state insect.  It is the honey bee.  She also said that my son had learned that the Honey Bee flies all over the country side looking for nectar.  Once they find it they fly back to the nest and begin to do a dance.  The dance gives directions to all the other bees as to where the nectar is.  Once she said this I began to wonder if the Lord was going to be using Jewish Dance Festivals to communicate to the Gentiles where the Jews are.  They then in turn will join in and participate in the great harvest of bringing sweetness to the land.  I believe this to be true only the Lord has not confirmed it yet.</div> <bR> <div> So what the LORD has revealed is that our baby is a picture of our ministry.  Her name is Melissa and that means Honey Bee.  Just as she belongs to Him so our ministry belongs to Him. Just as the honey bee flies all over the land gathering it’s sweetness, so the Lord will be using On Eagle's Wings Inc. to gather the Jews and bring forth sweetness to the earth.  We may be using Jewish Dance Festivals to share with the Gentiles and the world that there are dispersed Jews that need to be gathered.  As we trust in God and not the world’s ways, He will bless us and bring forth sweetness to the earth. </div> <div>  As if that were not blessing enough, the Lord gave us even more.  On the night before Melissa would have been born the Lord gave Teri a poem.  After writing it down she shared it with us.  We came to understand by the Lord that the very thing the Poem was stating was happening in heaven at that very time.  Here is the poem, and this is what occurred:</div> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B> <A NAME="sweet_little_honey_bee"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></B><B>Sweet little Honey Bee</B></div> <div> <B>Dance before the King</B></div> <div> <B>And tell the story we love to hear</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Of God’s people returning</B></div> <div> <B>upon His Wing</B></div> <div> <B>Of His people drawing near.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Tell of great miracles </B></div> <div> <B>and seas parting wide</B></div> <div> <B>To release them from the far countries </B></div> <div> <B>And bring them close by His Side.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>Dance your dance of Joy</B></div> <div> <B>Dance your dance of comfort</B></div> <div> <B>For God’s people will prosper once again </B></div> <div> <B>in that city called Zion.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>And Joy shall be your Song</B></div> <div> <B>And Peace will be your hope</B></div> <div> <B>When you know </B></div> <div> <B>Yeshua HaMashiach has come</B>.</div> <bR> <div> <B>So dance little Honeybee</B></div> <div> <B>before the throne of God,</B></div> <div> <B>That He would draw His people once again</B></div> <div> <B>to the wilderness</B></div> <div> <B>Where they will know their God.</B></div> <bR> <div> <B>His Name is Yeshua!</B></div> <bR> <bR> <div> We do serve an awesome God!  His Word is true and you will always have a firm foundation when you stand on it.  In Psalm 36:5 it says:  “Your Love, O LORD, reaches to the <B>heavens</B>, your faithfulness to the <B>skies</B>.”  We now know that God’s love to us, our beloved little Melissa, is now with God in <B>heaven</B> dancing His dance of joy.  So His love has reached the Heavens in that way as well as others.  We also know that his faithfulness reaches to the <B>skies</B> as he uses aviation to Bring His People Home.</div> <div> Abiding In His Love,</div> <div> Myron</div> <bR> <div> <B>P.S.  For an update as of </B><B>July 24, 2005 see President's Notes</B><B>)</B></div> <div>  </div> </td> </tr></table></body>
