Hosea 2:18 Covenant
If you were to take a close look at the birth and history of On Eagle's Wings and how Yahuwah has brought it forth, you would see something very significant in this verse as related to the ministry. Since the beginning, Yahuwah has put special emphasis on PROMISES. The Strength of the ministry lies on these promises. That is how it can move forward in faith to accomplish such a large task. The idea of promises is not strange to Scripture. It was through a Promise that Yahuwah blessed Abraham when He said that all the Nations would be blessed through him and his seed. Yeshua came from Abraham's seed and has brought Salvation to all those who will allow Him to reside in their heart. He is known as the Lamb of Elohim who takes away the sins of the world. Without this cleansing no one can come to Yahuwah.
The covenant mentioned in Hosea 2:18 is a promise. What this Scripture is saying is that Yahuwah was to make a promise using:
the beasts of the field,
the birds of the air and
the creeping things of the ground
The first promise can be seen in the lamb, which is a beast of the field. As mentioned above Yeshua became known as the "Lamb of Elohim" to take away the sins of the world. The Lamb sacrifices used by the Israelites pointed to this work He was to do and has now done.
Yahuwah has also used birds of the air to represent His promise of the Holy Spirit through the dove. Born again believers experience this as the Holy Spirit comes to reside in their hearts.
Another bird of the air that Yahuwah has used is the Eagle from which we derive our name. In this covenant, Yahuwah has promised to regather Israel and minister to them in the Wilderness before bringing them back to the Promised Land Israel.
The third part of the Hosea 2:18 covenant is regarding Yahuwah using the "creeping things of the ground" or as we see it, an "insect" in the form of a Honey Bee. This represents the Flying and Dancing Workforce Yahuwah will use to regather His people to the wilderness, leading many to Salvation as they see the Elohim of the Bible revealed both in Scripture and in their lives.
The main point is that the only safe place to stand in life is on Yahuwah's Promises and not man's ways. Our prayer is that all people will come to know the power of standing on Yahuwah's Promises and what it is like to have a life with Him residing in you.
