On Eagle's Wings uses the original Hebrew word Elohim (plural) or El (singular) instead of it's English translation "God" when referring to the Creator. Elohim is used for the Trinity and El for a singular person of the Trinity.
In ancient times there was a false god named gawd. Although we have no information that proves that the word God came from gawd, as a matter of preference we prefer to use the Hebrew words "Elohim or El". History reveals that mankind has had a terrible tendency to worship idols, partly evidenced by the names of the days of the week and months. If it turns out that the word God did in fact originate from the name of "gawd", by becoming a generic name for deities, then we will not be part of propagating that sin further. If not, then there is no harm in referring to our creator in the Native language of the Bible. Especially in light of the fact that we are encouraging a return to our Hebrew Roots. This is simply a matter of preference and we do not look down upon those who prefer to use the word God if they do not think it originates from a false deity.
Blessings to You, in the Name of Yahuwah our Elohim
