Countdown To
The Biblical Holidays

The Biblical Holidays are the most important and Sacred days for all humanity.  This is because they prophetically point to the death, burial, and resurrection of Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah.  The Biblical Holidays are known from Scripture as Yahuwah's (Elohim's) appointed times.  (Elohim is the original Hebrew word that English Bibles translate as God
)  And they are Yeshua's appointed times, for He died on the Biblical Holiday of Passover and is the Passover Lamb for the redeemed.  He was buried during the Biblical Holiday of Unleavened Bread, and was without sin.  He rose from the dead on the Biblical Holiday of First Fruits, and is the First Fruits of those who died.  For He was the first person to die and come back to life, never to die again.  Then exactly 50 days after First Fruits, came the Biblical Holiday of Pentecost or Shavuot.  This is the exact day that the Holy Spirit was first poured out on the followers of Yeshua, birthing the New Covenant, and providing the Gift of the Holy Spirit to His Bride.  These Holidays all occurred during the early harvest season of crops in Israel and relate to the early harvest of souls into Yahuwah's Kingdom.  We celebrate these important days now as Anniversaries to remember and teach how our Savior redeemed us.

When one understands how these are Yahuwah's appointed times and how He has fulfilled these important days, one can understand how important their proper timing really is.   There are other Biblical Holidays that are just as important.  They occur during the latter harvest of crops in Israel and point us to the latter Work of Yahuwah that is yet to come.  The next one on the Prophetic calendar is the Feast of Trumpets, and points us to the day Yeshua will come back to receive His Bride.  It is known as the rapture by many.  Just as expected, the exact day of this Holiday can not be determined.  However, we can determine the season and are expected to do so from Scripture.  The Holiday after that is the Day of Atonement, and probably points to the day that the Jews as a Nation will come to know Yeshua as their Messiah.  Following that, is the Biblical Holiday of Sukkot or Tabernacles.  This is the most joyous Holiday of them all, and acts as one of our wedding rehearsals getting us ready for the Wedding Feast of the Lamb.  It may very well be the exact day we have the real Wedding Feast!

So timing is important, and the very act of trying to determine the correct timing brings great Spiritual growth and insight.  Unfortunately, most people who are celebrating these Holidays are following a set calendar instead of following Yahuwah's instructions given in Scripture.  They are not necessarily doing this on purpose, it is probably the only way they know.  Fortunately, Yahuwah is in the process of restoring these Biblical instructions to His people.  We are doing our part by providing a teaching on this all important countdown to the Biblical Holidays.  Please understand that we do not claim to have all the answers, but we can get you started in that direction.  Yahuwah will finish what He has started in all of us.

Below is a copy of the Eleventh Biblical Month after Aviv (Abib) that relates to the year 2012.  It is the current month as of January 25, 2012 and will end 29 or 30 days later.   After that, is a blank calendar that you can use for your Countdown to the Biblical Holidays.  Just click on them to see a full size version, then you can print them.  To learn how to use these calendars please go to the following link.  From there, we will teach you the special significance of Abib (pronounced Aviv), and how to set up your observational calendar to determine all the Biblical Holidays:
