This is a very special page for us because it is here that we get to share the birth of On Eagle's Wings Incorporated and how God [Elohim] has called it into existence. By the time you have finished reading this section you will see how God [Elohim] has been revealing Himself and fulfilling Scriptures in a very powerful way. We believe our testimony will bless you as God [Elohim] speaks to your heart.

My name is Myron Martin, and I'm the President of On Eagle's Wings Inc. My family and I are missionaries from Fresno, California. When this article was written we were residing in the mission house of Dove Airfield in Ironton, Missouri. When we moved here in June of 2003 On Eagle's Wings did not even exist yet.   But God [Elohim] has been miraculously moving things along and we hope to share that with you today.

In the book of Exodus chapter 19 verse 4 the Bible says "... I carried you On Eagle's Wings and brought you to myself". There is perhaps no other verse in the Bible that describes our ministry so well. We were amazed to find this verse after the Lord [Yahuwah] had already called the ministry into existence and gave it it's name. That is also part of the story we hope to share today.

On Eagle's Wings Inc. has received a very special calling from the Lord [Yahuwah] to establish wilderness missions in Alaska. From there we will be regathering the dispersed Jews from around the world in order to fly them back to Israel. This will be done in the pattern of the original exodus. We will first take them out from their places of dispersion. Then we will teach them God's [Elohim's] ways and give them the Gospel in the wilderness of Alaska. After that is accomplished we will be flying them back to Israel, their promised land.

As explained so clearly in the Scriptures, it will be a beautiful picture of God [Elohim] Bringing a People Back to Himself. The ministry will be proclaiming the most important event in all history that will shortly be taking place. The soon coming return of our Messiah Yeshua. So much has happened already but there is much more to come. We want to personally invite you to be a part of it. We know from Scripture that a day will come when God [Elohim] will give that invitation to His people. We pray that this will be that day for you as He speaks to your heart.

In Isaiah chapter 49 verse 22 the Lord [Yahuwah] says:

"See, I will beckon to the Gentiles, I will lift up my banner to the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders"

It is our intention today to share how God [Elohim] has been doing that. We will show how the ministry is part of the fulfillment of God's [Elohim's] Word and reveal its prophetic significance.

We would also like you to pray about how the Lord [Yahuwah] may have you become a part of our ministry. We really want to encourage you to do this because based on the Scriptures and the way the Lord [Yahuwah] has birthed the ministry we think it is going to be of great historical significance. God [Elohim] has made many promises of which we hope to share at least some today.

In order to start we need to go back to the year 1994 when I received a promise from the Lord [Yahuwah] that He was going to use me in a FLYING MINISTRY. When He first gave that promise I had no idea of what a flying ministry was. I had never heard of Missionary Aviation Fellowship or any of the other Missionary Aviation agencies. He gave me this promise along with a series of amazing signs and wonders. He did this on Easter Sunday, the day of my baptism and the day celebrated for Jesus coming back to life. One of the really neat things about receiving the calling on this day is that He brought my life long dream of flying back to life. Only this time it was going to be for His glory and our joy!

So you see, the calling was just as poetic as it was amazing. In fact, one of the people He used to do this was named Robert. Then about a week later, after accepting the Lord's [Yahuwah's] call, I learned that Robert's last name was Earhart. Such as Emelia Earhart. And in fact he was related to her. This little fact acted as a further sign and encouragement to me that I was not just imagining all this. For many months after the calling, the Lord [Yahuwah] continued to provide amazing signs and wonders as well as teach me more about His ways in His Word. But then after some time the signs began to almost stop.

Still standing on the Lord's [Yahuwah's] promise and about 8 years later and after all human prospect was gone, the Lord [Yahuwah] showed us the next step in His plan. He led us to a place called "Christian Wings for the World" located in Ironton, Missouri. The interesting thing about this is that as soon as He showed us this next step the signs and wonders began to flow again. It was so amazing that many of my non Christian friends could even see it.

In order to really understand the birth of On Eagle's Wings Inc. we need to share some history of Christian Wings for the World and how God [Elohim] has been using them to show something very special in regards to His plans to bring His people home.

Christian Wings was founded by a man named Lionel Smith after he received a calling from the Lord [Yahuwah] to train missionary pilots. At about the same time that Lionel had received his calling God [Elohim] called another man named Don McCurdy to prepare an airfield suitable to train missionary pilots. The two men did not know each other and lived in different towns. After Lionel had started his ministry at his local airport the Lord [Yahuwah] led him to paint doves on the sides of his planes. Then a very special day came when Christian Wings for the World received a deed in the mail for Dove Airfield. It consisted of an aircraft hanger, 47 acres of land with a beautiful grass and asphalt runway. It is surrounded by trees and hills and is perfect for training missionary pilots. The reason I mention the doves being painted on Lionel's planes is because the name Dove Airfield was given years before it was ever donated to Christian Wings for the World.

Can you imagine being given a 47 acre airport with a hanger and so beautifully named?   In Isaiah 60:8-9 the Bible says:

"Who are these that fly along like clouds, like doves to their nests? Surely the Islands look to me: in the lead are the ships from Tarshish, bringing your sons from afar..."

This verse refers to the Jews being brought back from dispersion flying like doves to their nests. You see, even at this time, before I knew anything about God's [Elohim's] plan to use us to fly Jews home, He was "labeling His possessions" to show their purpose and to show who owns them. This little miracle is not about me. It's not about Lionel. It's not about Don McCurdy. But it is about God [Elohim] and what He is going to do!

It was also very poetic that it was on Father's Day that my wife and I had come to the conclusion that God [Elohim] wanted us to begin pilot training at Dove Airfield through Christian Wings for the World.

We still did not know what the Lord [Yahuwah] specifically had in mind. Up until that time we only knew that God [Elohim] had promised that He was going to use us in a "flying ministry." However the Lord [Yahuwah] had begun the work of preparing us for bringing Jews back to Israel but we had not recognized it yet. You see, several years before this, we had become involved financially in a ministry of flying dispersed Jews to Israel. I'll never forget the feeling I had while writing the first check for that ministry. It was as though the ministry the Lord [Yahuwah] had promised had begun. Only it didn't make sense to me at the time because I knew the Lord [Yahuwah] had promised that He was going to use me as a pilot in a flying ministry. I was also amazed at how much joy it brought when becoming involved with the ministry by simply writing a check. It was at this earlier time that our passion for the Jews began to grow. However, it grew even greater after we made the commitment on Father's Day to sell our home to attend pilot training. At that time our passion grew greater than any passion we had ever experienced in our entire life. It was this passion that really made me begin to think that the Lord [Yahuwah] may use us in a flying ministry for the Jews. However the Lord [Yahuwah] would not confirm it in my heart.

At the time that we had decided to sell our house to pay for pilot training we had about $50,000 equity in our home. We knew we were going to need about $100,000 to get the full job done. We were trusting the Lord [Yahuwah] for the rest. Then in one year's time the equity in our home increased by over 100%. We ended up selling our home and getting $101,000. It was easy for us to see that God [Elohim] was most definitely our provider in that situation as He always has been and always will be.

It was a very exciting time, seeing God's [Elohim's] hand move and the many signs and wonders. It was at that time that we started our first missionary newsletter. We called it "On Eagle's Wings" and referenced Isaiah 40:31 "They that wait upon the Lord [Yahuwah] shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles." We were very careful in choosing this verse. By this time we could sense that it was possible that the Lord [Yahuwah] was going to use us to fly Jews to Israel. But we also knew that even if He didn't, the verse would still be appropriate because we had waited for so long and we knew that He was going to use us in a flying ministry. So either way it would work out perfectly. We were longing for the Lord [Yahuwah] to confirm that He was going to use us to serve the Jews if that were true but He was still waiting for the right time.

Then a day came when a very special family decided to purchase our house. It was a young married couple who was going to get help from their father to buy it. We could sense the Lord's [Yahuwah's] hand in this transaction in a very powerful way. We knew that God [Elohim] was up to something.

We signed the purchase contract and went to look at the calendar to see the earliest date that we might be able to leave for Missouri to start pilot training. We were amazed to find that it would be the very day that Israel is celebrated as becoming a nation again. We still had not received confirmation from the Lord [Yahuwah] but this made it very interesting to say the least. We had also went out and purchased a family Bible to give to the couple at closing. We were going to leave it on the kitchen counter with their family name engraved on it. But then something very unexpected happened.

We received a phone call from the father who said they were not going to be able to buy our house after all. We were stunned and confused. Teri was terribly hurt but for some reason I was not ready to give up on it. I explained to Teri that we could both sense that God [Elohim] had His hand in this transaction.

I also brought back to her attention that we had both been sensing that God [Elohim] was going to use us to minister to the Jews but for some reason He had not confirmed that to us. I told her, "Let's do this.   Let's pray and ask the Lord [Yahuwah] to give us a sign. Let's tell God [Elohim] that we think we are hearing Him and that we think He has given us this passion for the Jews. Let's agree that if the Lord [Yahuwah] would speak to Samuel, the way He did to Samuel in the Bible and that if Samuel would go ahead and purchase the house; and if we leave for pilot training on the day Israel is celebrated for becoming a nation again, then we will know that God [Elohim] is going to use us in that way." That would truly be miraculous if that were all to happen. So that's what we did. We thought it was very poetic that the father's name was Samuel like Samuel in the Bible and how God [Elohim] spoke to him. We had previously seen so many signs and wonders that we knew God [Elohim] could be coordinating this as well. God [Elohim] can move heaven and earth both physically and figuratively and we were praying that He would do that.

Then one day not too long afterward, we received a call from Samuel. He didn't say that they were going to buy the house. In fact at first he didn't say anything. So I mentioned that I was going to have to get that gift to him that I had mentioned before. It was at that time that I mentioned to him that it was a Bible. He was very nice and thanked us and we made arrangements to take it to them and hung up.

Then shortly later we received a call from him again. He said, "Myron, there's something I need to tell you. I don't want to take the Bible under false pretense." Then he said "I need to tell you that we are Jewish". When he said that I thought I was going to fall to the floor. I was stunned and elated. I was able to share with him all that had been happening in relation to our calling. I shared how the Lord [Yahuwah] had put an awesome love in us for the Jews and how we had been feeling that God [Elohim] was going to use us to fly them back to Israel. We shared that's why we were selling the house to begin with. I also had a chance to share the Gospel to him through the Old Testament Jewish Scriptures through the story of Abraham and Isaac.

It was after we hung up and very separate from the amazing circumstances that the Lord [Yahuwah] gave me the direct knowledge that He was going to use us in a ministry involved with flying Jews to Israel and to present the Gospel to their Gentile neighbors. I cried tears of joy like a baby. I was overwhelmed with joy that God [Elohim] would use us in such an awesome ministry. I knew that a ministry such as this was far bigger than we were. And despite that God [Elohim] had just made it clear that He was going to allow us to be a part of it. I could not stop crying, nor did I want to. It was the best day of my entire life.

So the day came when we were finally in Missouri to begin pilot training at Christian Wings for the World. It was exactly one year from Father's Day that we had made the commitment to sell our house that we walked through the doors of our new local church. On the anniversary of that very important commitment as we were walking through the doors of our new church for the very first time we were given a pen. It had a beautiful drawing of an eagle on it with a Scripture reference to Isaiah 40:31. The same reference that we used on our ministry letter. They that wait upon the Lord [Yahuwah] shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. No one at the church knew that we were coming. We didn't even know until the day before. Nobody at the church had any way of knowing that we used that verse on our ministry newsletter. But God [Elohim] knew. He hand picked that church especially for us in answer to a prayer that we had made.

It was not long after that day that we met Al and Lou Falch who were later to come on board as Directors of our ministry. At the very beginning they expressed a strong interest in the work that we were doing. At a time even later than that, we learned that Lou and another lady named Brenda were the ones the Lord [Yahuwah] led to purchase the pens for the men on that Father's Day. Brenda has also come on board with us in the ministry. The Lord [Yahuwah] was working through all of this by sharing these signs and wonders and giving us encouragement. Which is something the Lord [Yahuwah] has commanded all of us to do. We are to encourage one another in the faith.

As time went on I began to wonder just how the Lord [Yahuwah] was going to accomplish all of this. Time was moving very quickly and I did not have a clue as to how to do this on my own. But that was OK with us because we never intended to do it on our own. We were trusting God [Elohim] to see it through.

But we didn't know if the Lord [Yahuwah] was going to have us join an existing ministry that is already doing that work or if He was going to have us start a new ministry. As we continued to pray and look for an existing ministry we could not find any that had our vision. There were many that at first glance seemed similar but were not like it. The biggest problem we found was that they were not sharing the Gospel. Unfortunately there is a lot of pressure that comes from satan and the world to inhibit the giving of the Gospel. But we should not be influenced by that. You can not truly love people if you don't introduce them to their Messiah.

As time went on I began to sense that the Lord [Yahuwah] was going to have us start a new ministry organization. Only again He would not confirm it. However I did begin to try and think of good names for the ministry just in case He confirmed it later. However I could not find any name that would stick. After a whole lot of prayer a day came when I felt pretty sure the Lord [Yahuwah] wanted us to start a new ministry but I was not completely sure. So I went to the Lord [Yahuwah] in prayer once again. This time I told the Lord [Yahuwah] that I thought I was hearing Him. I said that I believe He wants us to start a new ministry organization but that I needed more. This is too big of a thing to start when your just pretty sure. I told the Lord [Yahuwah] that I needed to be as sure as I was when He gave me the original calling to the Jews. I also said that it would be really neat if He would do it the same way. I then said in kind of a frustrated way, "And Lord, we need to know what to call it!" None of the names I had thought of were sticking.

It wasn't very long before the Lord [Yahuwah] answered that prayer; and He did it exactly the way He did when He gave us the original call to the Jews. We had gone back to Fresno, California for Christmas after my parents had paid for our trip. Fresno has a population of about 500,000 people. It is very rare to ever run into someone you know in a city of that size. But at this particular time we decided to do some shopping.

As we were walking down the aisle we ran right into the Jewish family the Lord [Yahuwah] had used to confirm our original calling to the Jews. We had a great time talking and sharing what had been going on with our ministry. We had been sending our newsletters to them and they were just as surprised as we were to run into each other. After we had finished talking we parted ways knowing very well that the Lord [Yahuwah] must have coordinated all of that. We hadn't walked but about 50 feet when my son David finds a calendar. On the cover it said, "On Eagle's Wings" and had both Jewish holidays and Scripture verses on it. As we had explained previously, "On Eagle's Wings" was the name of our ministry news letter. It also happened to be the name imprinted on my personal Bible given to me by my wife Teri. There was a sample verse on the back of the calendar's cover that showed June's Scripture verse which read:

"Who is like You-- majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?" Exodus 15:11 NIV

We knew that we were right in the middle of one of those wonders. At that moment the Lord [Yahuwah] gave me the direct knowledge that He wanted us to begin a new ministry organization. It's name was to be "On Eagle's Wings". Several signs followed this special event as well. One was that as all this was happening Israel had just started celebrating Hanukkah.

Another sign came when our Associate Pastor in Fresno gave a sermon that was a perfect summary of the kinds of things that had just happened to us in the store that day. The last service we attended before going back to Missouri was like a synopsis of what to expect that year. The Lord [Yahuwah] revealed to our Pastor that He was going to be doing things differently. "You have not gone this way before." Needles to say, we came back to Missouri very blessed!

We felt like we had to be the happiest people on the face of this earth. God [Elohim] had made Himself so clear. He answered my prayer exactly the way I had asked. He did it the same way he confirmed our calling to the Jews. He even used the same family. He provided us with the name for the ministry and followed it up with more signs and wonders.

So we came home making plans to start a new Missouri Corporation. It was going to be birthed in the Mission house of Dove Airfield. At the time that we were making these plans we had no idea how we were going to be flying Jews to Israel. We had no idea, how God [Elohim] was going to supply for the finances. We did not even know where we would be going. But we did have clear direction from the Lord [Yahuwah] what our next step was to be. We look back at it now in amazement at how far God [Elohim] had taken us in our faith. We knew quite well how humanly impossible His request was. But we also delight in our faith of knowing that He will see it through, all we have to do is be obedient.
