Feast of Tabernacles 2007
Biblical Restoration takes place as
Feast of Tabernacles is celebrated in Alaska!
The first year of "Calling Alaska to the Feast of Tabernacles" was a resounding success. With nearly 30 dancers from 3 dance troupes, we were led into an awesome time of worship as we participated in the keeping of God's Feast. The evening started with a precious 70 year old Alaskan Native who welcomed the Celebration to the Land. She challenged both native and non-natives to "get busy for the Lord, Jesus!"
The evening was filled with worship dance, flags, streamers and of course, lots of Jewish dance! There were many highlights to the evening including a representation of the Messiah's Bride entering the Holy of Holies. One of the most blessed parts of the evening was seeing the multi-cultural aspect as Black, White, Native and Hispanic dancers all dancing before the Lord. It was truly a representation of the nations of the earth coming to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. Another exciting highlight of the evening came at the end of the celebration when our audience was invited to join in a Jewish Dance. The Dance encircled the audience, and so many participated that we actually ran out of room. The evening included a time of Communion, as well as a time of fellowship and refreshments as part of the celebration.
On Eagle's Wings Inc. was represented with a ministry table. Nearly 40 Ministry introduction videos were distributed, as well as many brochures and "Be Fruitful and Multiply" books. The connection between the Feast of Tabernacles and the Work the LORD has given On Eagle's Wings to do in the Second Wilderness Experience was noted by several people. Myron Martin, President of On Eagle's Wings Inc., also reported they received a positive response from the Feast goers.
Preparations for the "2008 Calling Alaska to the Feast of Tabernacles" is already underway. Check back later for details
